How can I offset the CO2 emissions of my products/services?
The Filiera CO2 project will first of all provide you with details of the quantity of CO2 equivalent discharged by the production of your products/services. You will then receive proposals for upgrading projects that are able to absorb this production, choosing the most appropriate one with advice from Filiera CO2.
Filiera CO2 is involved in the following upgrading projects:
- planting of new wooded areas;
- protection and incentivisation of areas in which low environmental impact organic production methods have been adopted (use of organic parasiticides and fertilisers, energy saving, greater nitrogen and carbon fixation capacity in the soil, lower greenhouse gas production);
- safeguarding and managing of existing degraded wooded areas for the purpose of offsetting carbon dioxide;
- reducing your consumption by implementing tailor-made energy plans and specific forms of behaviour.
